Sydney Harbour is an amazing place to be, day or night.

A hearty chorus of Aussie boaties from
Cammeray Marina, plus the two Yanks, went Christmas caroling at Royal North
Shore Hospital.

Stanno, Paul, David, Jela, Janeece, and Buzzy. Bottom row, from

On Boxing Day (the day after Christmas), some of Alan's
friends and colleagues from RNS Hospital joined us to send off the
Sydney-Hobart and Volvo Ocean Race fleet, though dodging the spectator
fleet (bottom center) was entertainment aplenty! The haze in the air is
from the Sydney bushfires. |

We met up with Melissa & Ron of Ever After
near Melbourne for a driving trip down the Great Ocean Road to Adelaide,
where we all joined Barb & Lyn of Strega for a tour of South
Australia's Barossa Valley wine country. (We had a wonderful time,
you guys, except my face ached for a week from all the laughing!) |

RNSH colleague Alan M. and his family helped us
get the boat situated for New Year's Eve, after the kids each took a turn at the helm on a tour
of Sydney Harbour. |
